Before we state the definitions of Diversity, Accessibility, Inclusion, Equity & Justice used within this course we’d like you first to spend some time to write your own definitions and later we can compare them to see how we each define our own social environment.

Take your time, think hard and please do not use external resources like dictionaries, the internet or talk with other people. It will make an interesting exercise to look at the existing definitions we have that surround this subject, our idea here isn’t to spoon feed you the ‘facts’ but to help you self-reflect and be a little more conscious of your actions and thoughts.
