Online communities come with both limitations and opportunities—they can be what you make of them. Becoming an engaged member starts with understanding the community’s mission, vision, and ways of working. It’s about learning through experience how to navigate the space, use collaboration tools effectively, and engage in meaningful connections.

In this exploratory workshop, we’ll dive into what it means in practical terms to be part of a thriving, resilient online community. Through engaging in the CoLab, you’ll gain insights into how online spaces function, develop skills for remote collaboration, and discover how to contribute while receiving support. These learnings won’t just apply to CoLab—they’ll help you engage more effectively in other aligned networks and communities. The more you strengthen this muscle, the easier it becomes to adapt and thrive in online spaces.

Join us to explore how CoLab can empower you in your critical thinking, decision-making, and collective action!

This workshop is funded through the Next Steps Project through the International Permaculture CoLab.
