This is pertinent in the Permaculture world because of its origins.

A prominent member of Permaculture’s history is Bill Morrison, he went and listened and talked with many indigenous communities about farming methods, preservation techniques and ways of living and because of these origins, Permaculture practice is based on thousands of years of indigenous knowledge.

However, we don’t see that echoed within the Northern Hemisphere, or within Permaculture community and particularly with teachers.

As a consequence Justice in this sense is about every time we teach a Permaculture course, every time we talk about Permaculture we make a point that it’s based on thousands of years of indigenous knowledge.
